What is Onimusha: Way of the Sword?

Onimusha: Way of the Sword is Capcom's single-player swordplay action game set in a dark-fantasy version of early Edo-period Kyoto. Miyamoto Musashi wields the mystical Oni Gauntlet against the Genma, absorbing their souls while searching for his reason to fight.

Combat rewards observation and decisive timing: clash blades, deflect attacks, land Issen counters, use the environment, and awaken supernatural Oni powers. Between battles, explore corrupted historic landmarks, solve mysteries, improve Musashi's abilities, and prepare for formidable duels.
